Error Translation Metrology Software
Overview
Adcole’s Error Translate (ErrTran) utility is designed to convert lift files for use with non-conforming followers—particularly when the follower diameter on your gage differs from the blueprint specification. This tool enables accurate part measurement by generating new lift files tailored to each profile, along with Error Translate files that include stretch ratio data and other critical adjustments.
Beyond lift file conversion, Error Translate offers several powerful features: a Print menu for outputting converted arrays, graphs, and tables; a Language menu for selecting from multiple languages (defaulting to English); a Help menu for user guidance and program information; and a Convert Info Terms function that lets users easily edit or add information in the conversion pane.
